Power control on the brand new model includes a complete innovation: hydraulic speed can be independentely controlled directly from the accelerator pedal. It has never been easier for an operator to find the right balance between traction and lifting power. The optimized Z-bar linkage system provides much more lift force and a higher tonnes-per-hour production rate. A remarkable lift speed and class-leading machine stability help to boost productivity, especially in narrow V-Shape loading applications. Furthermore, response time of the hydraulics and the dumping or lifting can be set to specific job-sites.
At low engine speeds, the Komatsu EU-Stage V-compliant engine puts out high power and delivers more engine torque and performance. The aftertreatment system combines a Komatsu Diesel Particulate Filter (KDPF) and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR). The SCR system further reduces NOx emissions using AdBlue®. The engine’s advanced electronic control system manages the airflow rate and the fuel injection, combustion parameters and aftertreatment functions: performance is optimised, emissions reduced, and advanced diagnostic capabilities are provided.
